John kellyso they have a million different running backs that will be played into effect here so there’s your weapons there’s your quarterback let’s now talk about this offensive line so one of the best offensive lines in the league I think probably second behind philadelphia and the only reason I say that is because they do have a potential weak point or at least a massive question mark at center in nick harris though I think he’s a one of the premium breakout candidates around all of football this year but you really have some outstanding players on this line you have jedrick wills heading into year three uh listed as a 78 overall for me a balanced tackle who could be better than i’m currently ranking him year two was certainly disappointing for him dealt with some injuries how much was he playing through was better in his rookie year but came out in that amazing tackle class if nothing else you have a very good left tackle and there’s a chance he breaks out in his own right to continue ascending uh because after his rookie year it looked like he was on a great trajectory last year it wasn’t bad but he didn’t take that step up that you maybe want to see from a year to alignment uh then you have joel betonio at left guard I would say the third best guard in football. And you know I don’t know that I know the specific day or timebut it really was a combination of all the factors and as we were able to um accumulate more and more information um you know the the the pure volume of it and the amount of time and work that we place into it that’s ultimately what got us comfortable with him. So it’s a nice addition therebut it is also kind of a detractor from him as far as his upside as a passer because he doesn’t have that natural poise in the pocket the elite quarterbacks for the most part they’re comfortable hanging in the pocket until they no longer have to whereas kenny pickett. And I think maybe eventually he can get to that but in year one like I don’t know if he plays every game I don’t think there’s 800 900 receiving yards maybe somewhere in that range listen in this league you never know which rookie receiver is going to pop off next I mean we saw justin jefferson do it we saw jamar chase do it not saying he’s going to replicate those seasonsbut you know what trevor has to say it’s not impossible obviously it’s a little uh the reason why you said it’s a hot take because that’s a little over the top and if that happens jets fans are on top of the world. And it’s just a chance to get even more up close and personal we are styled today big dog we are dialed got a couple more weeks left to pro daysand then we’ll go back to cleveland for the draft in april.
