Okay uh jerome bigby wants to know who’s going to be under more pressure to play well this season hollywood or bateman there’s no pressure on hollywood what’s the pressure for hollywoodhe’s number two over there right next to hopkins. No ino I would much rather them like invest that whether it be those draft picks um salary cap I would rather them invest that into other positions on the offense because I think at running back they’ll be straight like jk dobbins he should be back any day now gus is going to be a long time but they still got mike davis they got tyler baity they got justice hill they got corey clement now josh jacobs. But he’s pretty damn good as a run defender he’s built like a built like a linebacker he’s got pursuit speed he’s one of the more secure tacklers in the league maybe lacks some of that ability to break down runs and get there right away but just the physical ability to the tackling ability it’s it’s very much thereso he’s a booster to the db run defense I will criticize minka on his run defense I think it’s just an effort thing with him because there’s a lot of times where he comes downhill and he can make a tackle and and he has improved his tackling over the years but you know I think there’s a little bit of that you know this isn’t my job mentality in maker fitzpatrick’s game and you’ll see him like just kind of not give a damn and you’ll see him with really lazy tackle attempts as well so i’m just i’m going to be a little bit critical of minka’s a run defender but he’s a he’s kind of right as well like most of the time he’s a free safety and it’s not really his job to come down and defend the run but you still want to see him put in that effort especially when the guy starts to break to the second level like you you don’t want to be out of position when that happens so uh I will be critical of mink as a run defender and then you also gotta note carl joseph if anything happens to terrell edmonds you got a pretty solid backup there so your run defense is going to rank third in the league of course the defensive coaching again being an amplifier to this because when you have a cameron hayward up front you’re able to basically put everyone else in a defined role just say play with good discipline do your job and you’re gonna shut down the run and that is what the pittsburgh steelers have consistently done so third for total run defense and that ends up giving you the second best defense in the nfl I don’t think that’s a stretch at all they to me were one of the three or five best defenses last year and you did get better in my opinion I think the staff got better I think the pass rush got better I think the coverage got better so it’s what’s gonna give this team a chance right they rank 26th for offense you’re hoping they can take care of the ball have a decent run game have these receivers make plays for you get you 17 to 21 points a week and play dominant defense and is that gonna be enough in this afc well let’s take a look at their schedule their over under is seven wins so that right there tells you people aren’t believing them and their schedule’s pretty tough

So I don’t want to spend too much time on him but is to me a superstar receiving back because he is to me this is a bit of a take that i’ve gotten some flak forbut I do believe karim hunt is the hardest player in the nfl to tackle in open space he has elite anticipation of uh encroaching defenders he understands where they’re trying to tackle him and what body angles what core strength he needs to lean on to shrug the guy off make the guy miss or just break the tackle and carry on so on a dump off on a running back out route on screens check downs you name it it is such a pain in the ass to come downhill and tackle this guy if you’re a linebacker or a slot corner or strong safety so obviously having him here he might be your second.
